Sketches for the book cover of "Ariel"

Ariel is a book of poems by the famous Sylvia Plath. It was compiled and published by her daughter after her suicide, with Plath's handwritten and typewritten poems present in the book. Plath was a genius in poetry, with an amazing imagination. As a teenager, her life was going fine until she was not accepted into a university she wanted to go in, which put her into depression. She was unsuccessful in an attempt to kill herself and was then put into a mental institution. Soon after she was well, went into university. She married, and once her husband cheated on her, they divorced, and that lead into her falling into another depression. This time she had 2 kids, had barely any money and lived in a tiny flat. Through the coldest known winter in England, she used to write peoms between 4 and 8am, before her children would wake up. The themes present in them are death, rebirth, depression, madness, anger... And mainly her imagination going wild. Here I present book covers for this poetry book.
Enjoy!
